- How do I compare two text files online?
- Paste the original draft on the left and the revised draft on the right, or upload two .txt or .md files, then press Compare. Redline highlights every insertion in green and every deletion in red.
- Can I compare two Word documents?
- Not as .docx directly. Copy the text out of Word and paste it into both panes — the comparison is identical, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.
- Does it show word-level changes?
- Yes. Switch the granularity to Word to see exactly which words changed inside a sentence, or Character for typo-level precision.
- Is there a length limit?
- Pasted text has no hard limit; uploaded files are capped at 2 MB so the browser stays responsive.
